Kidding, but we're just happy that we have been self sufficient as of now and have been able to serve the community for two years and running.

The advertising revenue as of now is being used fully to pay back the money that has been invested into running this site (4 figure dollar amount, if you must know) and paying the server costs.

Hope that clarifies how the income generated from the ads is being used - to run the site.

Despite everything that has happened in the last two years, I think personally it's fantastic that we have never resorted to donations. Yes, there have been folks who've wanted us to be open to the idea but personally I've enjoyed every bit of being self sufficient. Yes, we've had personal hardships to get where we are, and we've literally invested a fairly large sum to keep operations going, but in the end we're doing this because we're extremely passionate about keeping totalBarça going.

I do understand many here would possibly get attacked for saying NO to donations - but honestly it is a choice. There are projects that work on such a model but so far we're happy to have survived with just the love and support of our readers.
