Fun Facts: you can't tell, but my glasses in the video are painted red. Red-tinted wire-rimmed sunglasses are apparently not very popular anymore, and I wanted them to be red so they'd show up well on camera. So I bought a pair of reading glasses and painted the backs of the lenses with acrylic. I should see if I can get Ponoko to cut me some red acrylic lenses... for the sequels. :) Also, there were going to be more robots, but yeah... technical issues, unfortunately.

That'll give you... er, bees. Oh God. Manos, Hands of Fate. Even MST3K couldn't salvage the experience for me. I'll second that the backgrounds work surprisingly well. Usually photo backgrounds with cartoon characters ends up looking wrong but here it looks quite natural.

Not a public high school--a Christian academy. And as much FAIL as it is to give up on school with just two mandatory years left to try to make it as a professional fake guitarist, I can almost understand how someone could end up looking for any way out of that especially if they aren't Christian or don't fit in with the prevailing school culture, which is hinted at in the original article. Still, it's like--aim higher, dude?

And the bad thing about that is that the title really intimated such promise. Good ol' fashioned archaeological plunderin' of El Dorado, a real Indiana Jones movie--as opposed to the KGB and some fucking aliens with their interdimensional new age crystal skulls. But it's still not as bad as "Tr2n", which makes the movie sound like it's going to be a two-hour long typo.
