House Democratic Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi sat down with Bob Schieffer this morning and her non-answers on Congressional action to tackle the problems with the nation's economy left Schieffer in a sour mood. As Pelosi suggested President Obama has done everything to save this economy and now the focus is on jobs, Schieffer wondered "the President has been there two and a half years, I mean, why hasn't he done that yet, what's happened?"

I like Trump. He is entertaining and a successful businessman.
But, I'm suspicious of him. He is good friends with Rahm Emanuel, Obama's former Chief of Staff and now mayor of Chicago. Trump gave at least $50,000 to Rahm's campaign for mayor. Also, Trump’s TV and Hollywood agent is Ari Emanuel, Rahm's brother.

Research some of Trump’s comments two years ago and further back. He sounded more democrat and even liberal than conservative or republican.

If Trump ran as an Independent it would split the GOP vote and guarantee an Obama reelection.

The chairman of the President's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness -- also the CEO of a billion-dollar company -- paid no corporate taxes in 2010.
General Electric, led by Obama appointee Jeffrey R. Immelt, reported worldwide profits of $14.2 billion last year -- with $5.1 billion coming from U.S. operations -- but had no American tax bill, and claimed a tax benefit of $3.2 billion, The New York Times said.

Pelosi and Reid adjourned Congress on September 29, 2010 without passing a budget for the October 1, 2010 to September 30, 2011 government fiscal year. The democrats wanted to go back to their districts and states to campaign for the November 2 elections.

America would have a spending budget if Obama had told Pelosi and Reid to stay in Washington and keep working until they passed a budget. The democrats had a 59 to 41 majority in the Senate and a 257 to 178 majority in the House.

We would not have needed several Continuing Resolutions to keep the government running. We would not be having the arguments and problems now if Obama had led and insisted Pelosi and Reid pass a budget before adjourning.

Instead, Obama is more interested in playing golf, taking vacations, campaigning for reelection, and flying on Air Force One to visit foreign countries.
