I love these old Thinkpads. I used a 380 and 760 until they just weren't fast enough to keep up with modern software. Then again, I am weird.

Not really. '88 323 SE, auto. It was a boringly practical choice for a brand new Airman at his first duty station. <img src="http://i.imgur.com/91rYW.jpg"> Was fun on the backroads and in the dirt as it had four wheel independent suspension unlike virtually all other economy cars at the time, but it was completely gutless on the highway. I did take it to some ridiculous places though, and it never missed a beat. At the time, I really wished I had enough scratch for a 323 GTX. 20 years later I still want a 323 GTX.

You can get it with the LT trim too. $24,797 through USAA for an extended cab LT short bed with the max trailering pack. So tempted.

You'll need an extended or crew cab to get the 6.2. Last truck I had was a regular cab shortbed with the 5.3, and it was a blast.

On the Silverado 1500 extended and crew cab, you can now get the "max trailering package", which gives you a 14 bolt SF behind a 6L80, with the 403 horse 6.2. Beefy!
