The Bible says that unbelievers "Suppress the truth in unrighteousness."

So yes, they do know about God. They know enough to be "without excuse" on the day of judgement. It's silly of us to assume they know nothing of God. Everything within them hates God and that is why they do not repent and turn to Jesus in faith.

POV means point of view.

If he believes that morality comes from Humanity. then he is just avoiding the question. Where does Humanity come from or does societies have an objective or subjective view of morals?

While I agree that there were some founding fathers who were indeed deist, many secular Historians have twisted and taken the words of many founding fathers out of context and turned them into deist when they never were.

Also, that doesn't matter.

Whether or not our country was founded by a few or a great amount of deist does not make it correct.

I do believe that you are required to back up such statements with some sort of proof. Now, I am not saying that there have been millions of people that would repeat a prayer. But repeating a prayer, tithing to a ministry or any of that stuff does nothing to save you. So yes, I agree TBN has done a lot of stuff to deceive people into thinking that they are saved. But the truth is many of those people will blindly walk into Hell because they have not truly been born again.

I listened to the sermon and I was still quite unclear about his view on it. I cannot say for sure what he thinks. Which is why I asked him for clarification.
