LOL, Awesome. Great story George. Most CEO's said the same thing about the iPhone, news paper companies said that about blogs and I bet almost all disruptive technology is greeted that way.

Matt, thanks for the link. Great article. I'm taking that last quote and tweaking it to read:

"To the extent that we can create the future, we do not need to predict it."

With as much hype as VC backed companies get, it's the 'lifestyle' company that is still the back bone of the country. There's definitely a lot to be said for someone that can bootstrap and build a sustainable company over a very long time horizon. In some ways I'd say it's harder to do than running a VC backed startup.
