en-us http://www.intensedebate.com/users/346333 Comments by sydb http://have-you-met-ted.com/2009/season-5-episode-3-robin-101-preview/#IDComment37408073 i am all for barney and robin but i dont think they are doing it right. there are so many different new ways they could have gone with it, but they are just going down the usual boyfriend and girlfriend thing. but tonight the problem wasnt only them, it was everything really, the jokes felt forced and the interactions between all the characters seemed a bit off. the barrel thing was simply stupid. and the acting! even the acting, which i think is one of the best things on the show, was bad.... didnt it feel that everyone was over-acting? it reminded me of "the stinsons" a little bit, too sitcomy. the only thing that got a laugh outta me was the photo of robin laughing at a parking meter. its silly but it was funny. im not sure the problem is barney and robin, their interaction at the end was sweet and believable, maybe it would have been best to see them trying to work things out, than having them be a couple already having fights like regular couples over jealousy and stuff. i wish there were more group stories. SILENCE! " other highlights for me are: the girl nodding "did you do this?" "-no." "flugelhorn! did you do this?" "no!" "didnt we meet in a yatch?" the exploding high fives and the whole scene during the hockey game i love that they changed the dynamics. it was necessary, the barney + bimbos thing was getting repetitive, and the whole "robin is a slut" thing was getting on my nerves. i think neil and cobie have A LOT of chemistry. and both actors are doing a great job, i was afraid it might be weird but i thought they were totally believable. i love douchey teacher ted. i just hope they give more material to jason. he is awesome, the whole tuxedo thing was genius.
