There is an intensity of disgust that builds when a person is relentlessly exposed to a set of statements he or she knows are not true. We are not talking about common human discourse now, where there is normal doubt, normal disagreement and movement toward clarification. We are talking about the abuse of language itself and its use as a psychological weapon on the community.
