I think that this could be a very valuable source of information for business owners and operators and a great way to feed information about RCPD policies and procedures into the community.

Ok, the project will create a bit of economic stimulus great...but I think the whole "environmental" lawsuit is bogus. I can't believe that creating a carpool lane on Hwy50 through Rancho specifically is going to encourage commuters to go out of their way to drive together to benefit from 7 miles of diamond lane. Personally I think a greater traffic and environmental impact would be created by improving on and off ramp modifications throughout the Rancho Cordova area.

I think it's near impossible to create something completely original in comics because everything has already been done somewhere...I feel the pain here haha

YAY for SOCKS! This was fantastic and people really came together to embrace this project and because of that a lot of kids will be better off this holiday season.

The VSP Website states that:

"In 1960, VSP was granted exemption, pursuant to Internal Revenue Code § 501(c)4, from federal income taxes ."

IRC code 501(c)4:

501(c)(4) exemptions are given to civic leagues or organizations not organized for profit and operated exclusively for the promotion of social welfare, or local associations of employees. Net earnings are devoted exclusively to charitable, educational, or recreational purposes.[9]

The exemption applies so long as "...no part of the net earnings of such entity inures to the benefit of any private shareholder or individual."[10]

Not sure that they follow all the rules...but this is WHY they were given tax exempt status.

Now all they need is a decent comic shop and it will be complete!

The Thunderbirds put on a fantastic show! I've seen them fly 3 or 4 times now and they were amazing each time!
