I think the singing bass thing could be used too, just put Obama's head on it and have him go on and on about change and hope.
Its not like any of this comes as a suprise to anyone. Just more of the "same ole" hypocrisy that oozes from the White House and Congress. Its actually one of the few things that is consistant with this administration.

Imagine that, a leftist throwing in the race card. I think you need to study more of this site, most of us here are just as angry at the republicans as we are the democrats. In the past few decades presidents from both parties have trampled the constitution, and cogress (made up of mostly dems and repubs) has let them. You can read a little history and see for your self the truth in that. Most Universities point that out in Am. Gov. 101. (I know, I took it).
Of course if the government passes Giechtner's new plan, they can just take over any of the newspaper businesses anyway so they won't fail. Rats always have more then one way out of their hole.
It does leave a lot of room for abuse, though the bill is worded to sound all compasionate for these poor little companies that will lose all these jobs. I feel for the people losing the jobs, since I was without a job recently for 4 months. It was a little tough to feed my family there for awhile. But the government has too much power already, and this is just another power grab.
You still haven't said what you are really for, besides spouting typical left-wing rhetoric. Why don't you back all that leftist vomit up with some facts. Why don't you try and have a reall discussion with us? I don't suppose you see any results of people from this site taking action, since you only get your news from the New York Times or CNBC. Try opening your eyes and look around, people have been organizing tea parties and other actions right here on this site.
I had a question for you all. I have read articals durring the elections and up to the present, about how most of the other nations in the world were following our elections, and heavily supported Obama. They were excited about him because he was racially mixed, was politically left-winged, etc. My question is; why do these other countries, in particular, the European countries, view Obama's race as particularly refreshing? It is almost as if they are accusing us of being so racist and backwards untill now, and now we are turning a corner, and they can now respect us.
I don't exactly follow other nation's political processes, but have any of these Western European countries that are so infatuated with Obama ever elected a mix raced PM or president or what have you? Or even a different ethnic background besides Caucasian? I havn't seen any black parliment members at least in the Western European countries.
Now that is a rather disgusting thought. You would equate Obama with Washington? I agree with you though, why should China buy all our debt? Why should we fawn at China's feet and wheedle them to buy more bonds, when our government is doing all they can to shred the dollar? We need to stop this insane spending, and demand Obama to deliver on his promise of more transparancey. Or maybe he didn't mean the American people when he promised transparencey.
Good question. Are these people behind Obama elected officials who will eventually have to leave office, or are they something else, like Union leaders?
