Hey Bruce!

Thanks for dropping by and for your comments. You may be well be correct about context... we discussed what we had, and I think a few times mentioned that this may well not be representative of what Master Skip is all about.

If you go down to the bottom (I'll add widget on the side as well) you can subscribe to the RSS feed and your podcatcher will allow you to either save it and download it or if you put the RSS feed in the itunes or method of joining podcasts it will grab new episodes for you to download it to your mp3. :)

One of the problems is that, like all victim culture tools, the term "Domestic Violence" is used to create an equivilency across a broad spectrum of behavior. As such, the term itself is almost useless for describing a set of activities. However, in rants like this (and the comments) it is then common to discuss only the worst scenarios as if these reactions are rational or appropriate for all of it.

Hell, it's hard to find someone these days who will not claim to have been the victim of some sort of abuse or spousal attack. Each and every one of them more than happy to pull ont he mantle of helpless victim who cannot possibly have been expected to do something... right up until we are supposed to treat them like heros when the finally do.

I empathise with the true victims, especially though who were by nature or nurture genuinely too weak to take a stand when it counted. The rest of them? Not so much.

It was a great experiment and a lot of fun. What I liked about it over other acuity drills was the novelty, much more interesting that dry signal memorization.

I agree with this - it is critical that biggovernment.com maintain itself above the little stuff and the innuendo. Stick to the big, serious, impeccably documented first source content.
