Our church does an annual "Takin' It to the Streets" project to help motivate us to get out into the community and do the work that needs to be done. But even cooler, some of our youth undertook amazing projects recently - feeding thousands at Thanksgiving and collecting thousands of jackets for those who needed them when the temps in Florida reached record lows this year. Putting God's love in to action is what it's all about. Nice job Will!

I bought the Stuff Christians Like book.

Wow. My husband and I just had a "discussion" last night during which he reminded me that the world really will not come to an end if I don't hold it up all by myself. I am not responsible for everything that goes wrong (or right). God really doesn't ask us to be God, does He? I can be such a control freak.

Every day since September 2009, I think. And quickly worked my way through the archives! Reading SCL first thing in the morning is like eating Wheaties - the breakfast of champions!
