I get it, and this kinda thing is bound to happen. Folks don't understand what could possible make people get up and leave FF because their too busy being inconsiderate and trapped in the small bubble that's their world. I know where you're coming from and while I can't say I'd do the same, I totally understand the frustration. Hope to see you back soon.

I like ID too. I tried to use it for an existing blog but it couldn't import all the comments so I had to go with Disqus. But if I were to start another blog from scratch, I'd give ID another try.

From what I've seen, the FF comments are kinda just slipped in with the comments from the blog. Is it possible to separate the 2 discussions?

You're right, it's a touch choice to make. I chose to go with Disqus because of the FriendFeed support but it wasn't an easy choice. Plus the Disqus community is pretty solid, not sure of how many are using IntenseDebate.

If ID does decide to get with FriendFeed, this is a whole new ball game.
