Here's the thing though - I am not disputing the story of Jesus or, for that matter Adam/Eve, Noah - just saying that science and history DO NOT rip them to shreds as much as we think they do if we view them differently. No unbelief here. I fully believe all that you said and more about Jesus. What is here is a willingness to not discount all that God was doing in the entire world just because the Bible does not mention it.
