In the field and arena of organizational psychology there is "contrast effect or bias". In essence when other candidates are so very poor that they cannot succeed then the other remaining candidate (Sarah Palin) takes on an enormous and inflated personal presence that is much larger than reality and they (she) actually begin to believe in an unrealistic expectation of becoming President of the US.

She does it well but unfortunately (for theRepublicans) or fortunately (for the Democrats) this leads to the further personal unrealistic expectation that she is viable and can beat Obama at jogging (as she challenged yesterday) or as President.

The more she engages in this self-fulfilling fantasy that only she truly believes, the closer the Republicans in 2012 will begin to "dust off" Romney or Huckabee or even a rehabilitated Mark Sanford. Palin is a loose cannon not "street smart" enough or intellectually astute enough to "dishonestly" know and admit what she "honestly" does not know! .She cannot resist hogging the headlines even negatively because it is very clear that is how she is illogically & irrationally programmed (DNA) to self-destruct. These are not Presidential characteristis or qualities. Not to worry.
