it's obvious: dead and displaced victims are powerful political weapons.

what's that rahm (or was it sal?) says about never letting a crisis go to waste?

forgive me for being all sunshine and roses but, due the ever growing popularity of the tea party movement cause, the fact that the tide is changing in our favor despite the powerful malevolent forces at work is encouraging in the least.

that said, the progs are utterly despicable. this article needs to go "viral." the more of the thus far unengaged, and left leaning but otherwise non-political, lemmings see this the better. not only does it strike a clear contrast between tea party/conservatives and the progressive machine but it further reveals the scope of lies being fed to the general public via the msm.

i think it's wise for people to remember the distinction between republican and conservative. i see too many people interchange the terms and this needs to be recognized.

one can be a conservative and not a republican and one can be a republican and be a progressive.

this creepy elitist pol from michigan needs to be tared and feathered, figuratively speaking of course, along with the other lindsey grahams in d.c. and elsewhere.

while we're at it we need to correct the twisted caricature of what it is to be a conservative.

I used Dear Leader's site to write in opposition to Obammo-Care thinking the minions would proof read and delete. I clicked the boxes for every one of my local papers and wrote. I kept the rhetoric down in hope to avoid any "red flags."

I just received confirmation from several of the papers and Organizing For Amerika.

Try it out folks!

Thank you for writing a letter to the editor.

By speaking up, you’ll help shape public opinion in your community and ensure that health insurance reform becomes a reality.

If your story gets published, we’d love to hear about it. Please let us know here:

Subject The Urgency of Healthcare Reform
Message To whom it may concern,

I am like many Americans who feel that the current health care system is in need of improvement. I am frustrated by many in Washington who seem non-responsive to the clear will of the people whose voice clearly, and emphatically, state we must fix the system we have. Instead, some in DC rather create a new and overwhelming bureaucracy that will consume what little freedom we have left and give it to politicians. Studies show spending on health care is out of control and it continues to rise thanks to a broken system. What we need in these tough economic times is not radical power grab, but common sense solutions to a genuine concern that health care will become increasingly out of reach for many Americans."

i grew up being taught to turn out lights as i leave the room and to not litter; i believe conservation should be seen as a practical issue and not a political weapon.

the progressives diminish any credibility to this matter with their overwrought and corrupt propaganda.

Thanks for this informative article as I had no idea Earth Day existed! What a spectacular video too as it sends a powerful message about the global awareness of this issue. You can bet I just marked this on my calender and will be telling people about this momentous event.

I marked this on my calender because at 8:30 on 3/27 I plan on using as much electricity as I can and hope those that I love will join me in solidarity. Might even burn a tire.
