All these "surveys" do is reinforce where a person lives inside the US. I say this because Verizon sucks big time where I live and travel on the US East Coast but AT&T on my iPhone seems always to work.

This whole episode sounds fishy, even by Gizmodo's description. The story was so full of holes it wasn't even funny. Plus this whole outing of the unfortunate Apple engineer on their site made them worse than paparazzi or yellow journalism.

Well I hope all "tech news sites" take this story to heart. I can't count how many times i have seen positive reviews of tech products but in real life they are junk. Plus maybe a site could come up that just didn't cut and paste from a Press Release.
