I am refusing to fill out the census that is being taken by ACORN. The constitution specifies that the government needs to know how many people in the household. They don't need to know where you work, how much you make (all that information can be found on your tax return that the IRS gets), what type of fuel to heat your house, how far you travel to work, what time do you leave (that is so they know when they can rob your home), and the list goes on. I am writing a letter to my senators and representative and I will also send a copy ot Obama. I feel that this is an invasion of privacy and with all the illegal acts ACORN provided during the election why would I want them to have access to my private information? We need to stick together on this and show the government that we don't agree with ACORN being involved in the census of the US. If they show up at my house I plan on asking them questions about the operation of ACORN and asking just what they are doing with all my tax money besides supporting Obama. I want them to prove they are a legal citizen of this country (why should they be taking a paid position if they aren't a legal citizen?).

The ACLU would be after them.

My mother had a massive stroke in February and was in the hospital for a week before she passed away. We got the final bill from the hospital and the total bill was $60,000. The insurance company paid $17,000 after adjustments. Does this mean that if someone didn't have insurance they would have to pay $60,000? I think this is a joke. My mother had medicare but also was paying $109 a month for private insurance because medicare didn't cover enough. I spoke with my doctor last week and she told me that the top CEO's from the top insurance companies are the ones who run medicare. So whether it is the government or the insurance companies running medicare we are in trouble. Neither one of them can run a business.
We need someone who has a viable plan that we can push congress to at least review.
It is funny that the minute the insurance companies think they could be put out of business they can cut their prices. Why not just cut them? They are making plenty of money off of us.

You know that Biden wouldn't be there without a mask. What gives the government the right to tell these people that they can't do anything to prevent them from getting sick. If I was one of the border patrol agents and did get the swine flu I would be hiring a lawyer to sue the government.

I am afraid you are right about Kennedy and being there for life. Although he hasn't been very well so who knows. Maybe next election he will decide his health is more important. We can only hope.
