As a conservative living in Massachusetts I can attest that Mitt Romney is no conservative. From government mandated health insurance to tax policy to forcing Catholic hospitals to provide abortion inducing drugs to single handedly enacting gay marriage by decree, Romney was every bit as radically liberal as Barack Obama. He does a good job of running from his record. But if you really want to know all you have to do is look.

I real president would park an aircraft carrier battle group between the Nile and the Suez canal and provide instructions to the Egyptians on where to safely drop our citizens off. Barack OCarter instead will say please and possibly threaten to "cut off aid" which should scare these people to no end.

Subsidizing Planned Parenhtood and requiring contraceptive coverage including abortifacients is not being neutral nor is it leaving private decisions up to individuals. Government is advocating for population control. It is one of many policies of failure the liberals espouse.

Isn't the government by its funding birth control advocating ather than remaining neutral? We all pay for it even if it violates our conscience and belief system. So they are "dictating" to one group despite your warped logic.

The liberal minded quasi Catholics who supported Obama are to blame for this. By their capitulation to his radical secularism they signaled he could act with impunity. Sister Keenan's protest sounds empty. She was warned by the Bishops and defied them anyway.

From reading the previous comments I'd say Lugar would have better off keeping a lower profile. If the Tea Party was able to get a Republican elected in Ted Kennedy's Senate seat, replacing Lugar isn't even heavy lifting. His own words make for a splendid mailer. Does this clown really believe it means more to folks to maintain a phony GOP majority than to actually stand for something? Has he not read that the biggest political party is now "unenrolled"? We cannot govern with career aristocratic politicians like Lugar getting rich off the gullible. Goodbye, Dick.

Leave it to this group to figures out a way to improve Obama's favorable rating. The only person to benefit from their attacks has been Obama. Put your own policies and positions forward, my friends, and let the rest of us tear into the facts.

I agree that watching Perry debate brings back the stomach tightening moments of the Reagan debates, where you held your breath hoping he could complete a thought, but that's not decisive for me. To elect a Texan again means to sacrifice the immigration issue. Their perspective is different because they are on the border and have learned to coexist with Mexico and the mass of refugees from the drug wars. I'm more concerned about globalism and the trans national highway. But I'd still give him a chance over Romney and Gingrich.

Things are bad by American standards but this statistic is pure baloney. Poverty? Really? Visit Calcutta and tell me about "poverty" in the US. With Congress renewing unemployment benefits to around 2 years we have defacto welfare that is the envy of the third world. Folks living in poverty in America manage to do so while watching large flat screen TVs and texting on their iPhones while gaining weight into obesity. The government classifies this as poverty to try and enslave even more into this welfare dependency.
