As someone who got suckered into voting for W twice, I'm glad he's done. Now people will have to find some other easy target. I'm tired of people blaming all of the countries problems one one person. I wish Obama all the luck, but I think he's doomed before he even starts. So many people are treating him like the second coming and he hasn't even done any thing yet. Having said that, if people feel hopeful because he's there then things will get better. The average consumer has more to do with the economy than Wall Street and DC combined.

Based on the article that Joel referenced Bush spent 977 days of "Vacation", and that sounds like a lot. However, if you add up weekends, holidays, and vacation time, the average American spends 992 days in the same 8 year span. And like you said, its not like the guy is actually out of contact from work. It's not like in a major crisis he can say "I'm on vacation, let Dick deal with it", oh wait... ;)

Apollo 13 was excellent, a wonderful depiction of man's ability to overcome the poor quality control of faulty wiring (in space), but 14 and 15 were just kinda blah....

Totally agree, Matrix was a ground breaking cinematic achievement, Reloaded got caught up in endless Wu Ping fight sequences, and Revolutions was just mess.

We moved up here a couple of years ago from FL and are lovin it. We were sick of all the rednecks and blue hairs in FL. We've traveled a bit, Philly, LA, SF, ATL, and through Europe, London, Paris, Dublin, etc., but NYC wins hands down.

I had one of those too and it was about as big as my Mac Mini. Rockin the tape adapter in the car and the best vibration control device was balancing the Diskman on my knee.

Yeh, I had an XT too. With a 20MB drive and a switch that would double the speed from 8MHz to 16MHz, whoo hooo, :0

The 250MB was what I used on the first PC I built myself.
