Hi Cass, thanks for sharing your sentiments, and doing a wonderful job describing the Thai ice cream. Both yours and Julia's depictions of the event left me wishing I had been there! I didn't get the sense that Julia was chalking Roopa's victory up solely on account of the weather, but we'll leave it to her to respond. They were exceptional. The bars are 1.5 ounces each. I'd say that each bar is equivalent to about 4 truffles. On a side note, I also tried the Caramel Nut Bar, and it was indescribably good.
