bummer...EventVue didn't make it into your directory. don't be surprised if there's an uprising amongst your beta testers who can't believe you allowed such a glaring hole in your dataset. seriously, exactly how useful can a list of organizations who use email be if it doesn't even include EventVue?! ;)

Tommy (duwanis) pointed out to me that the language "strike a nerve" makes this sound more antagonistic than it was. My apologies - it was a discussion through twitter that had a lot of restrictions because of the short form dialogue that twitter enforces. Perhaps this is reflective of the medium having just as much impact as the message.

mashable isn't exactly "mainstream" or for "regular people". but still, the fact that one of their bloggers mentioned brightkite as if everyone knows it is a good sign for brightkite. brightkite was one of the techstars companies with us and I'm a big fan of their product, especially whenever they get to releasing an iphone version.
