Uh oh, we better keep them here and let them drain our resources then.

You mean the same lord that caused the catastrophe in the first place?

They put up more yards passing although if I remember correctly, Alexander did get lots of handoffs inside the 5 to secure the TD's. Like I said, I am talking about the trend and not the anomalies. The 2005 hawks were pretty balanced, def not a predominant run team.

I am confused...why are you referencing cuba? Why do I care if cuba does or doesn't offer aid and if it is reported accurately?

Really, i don't think that is the case. Favre hits Shiancoe, Harvin, and Rice far more often each game b/c it works, not b/c other teams are scared of AP (who puts the rock on the carpet more often than he should).

I am not talking about anomalies...that game was not the norm obviously and that was not their game plan.

Fair enough, your first paragraph nails it. Thumbs up.

Really? Am I talking to Rex Ryan? In your day and age, running the ball might have been the way to go but this isn't pittsburgh in the 70's....give me one team that is successful in the nfl behind a running game first attack.

Ok, so if you have to have both and we have neither, where do you think the focus should be? Given as how every successful nfl team is a passing team, I would argue that we should focus first on a QB, TE, and WR's and their gameplan. Like I said though, I do like this hire although it probably won't make much of a diff to run a zone blocking scheme with our current personnel. Hope I am wrong.
