All the more reason to fast! I don't believe in things being left up to genetics, including diabetes. I'm aware that I have a high carbohydrate sensitivity, so that probably explains a lot of it.

It's been more than 24 hours and I actually don't feel so bad. I had some herbal tea and a little brown rice, and besides the hunger, all I have is a slight headache. Let's see how tomorrow goes.

I put some lemon on my brown rice and it's awesome. :D

I'm not worried about eating. I have no problem controlling what I eat and when. It's feeling sick that gets me. I hate feeling sick and forcing myself to do something that is obviously making me feel sick is difficult. The last time I tried fasting I felt so sick after 20 hours that I gave up. (And I'm not just talking about the hunger feeling. I'm talking about headaches, nausea, muscle pains, etc.) That's why this time I'm going to try it with just eating some brown rice.

I don't recall ever "mocking" you for fasting... I know fasting has tons of health benefits. The only time I wouldn't have considered fasting in the past was when I was in the middle of a workout routine. I may have told you fasting was a bad idea while doing a stressful activity (like lifting or running).

What's the longest you've fasted for?

Thanks dwalters. I have a multivitamin with 120mg of vitamin C so I could take one of those (although I doubt scurvy would be an issue for a two-day fast).
