I find it interesting that it has been discovered that FOIA requests filed by liberals are fulfilled *much* faster than those filed by conservatives as was reported last week (http://www.theblaze.com/stories/bombshell-charge-doj-whistleblower-says-liberal-foia-requests-get-vip-treament/) Complicity? Keep up the great work!

That's what I like about "The Bigs": a gathering of the ballsiest, smartest and tenacious conservatives around. Way to go, Liberty Chick. Whatever we can do to help you and Patterico - especially against an established terrorist - just tweet/DM the word.

O...M...G...bought "Hostile Intent" and can't put it down - except for when I have to go to work and even then I'm sneaking a peek when I have a quick minute. Already looking forward to "Early Warning." All I can say is that Mr. Limbaugh has good taste!

Heard your interview on the @Stage_Right Show (BlogTalkRadio) last night and was quite intrigued. I love Vince Flynn's books and with Rush's recommendation, I can't wait to get my hands on "Hostile Intent" and "Early Warning." Based on the title alone, "October Surprise" warrants a future purchase as well.

I was concerned when Mr. Dollard dropped off the radar for awhile...now I see there was good cause for concern. This is scary, unacceptable sh*t. To quote Leauxryda "What’s going on at our borders is OBVIOUSLY AN INSIDE JOB." We have the power to stop it but our government feels it is better to take Arizona to court than fight the real battle at the border. Disgusting is the nicest thing I can say about our government at the moment.

Yes, Farmer X is probably going to have to look over his shoulder even more now but it seems like Mr. Dollard is one of the few people going out to see what is truly going on and reporting on it. Props.

UPDATE: Tune into the Jason Lewis Show at 6:00 EST today (Fri., Sept. 24) where he will be discussing the drug war and the latest government official to be killed in Mexico in the past month. Jason has some very strong libertarian views on the drug war and how it impacts the U.S., our borders, and our safety.

My kids wanted to see this movie so my husband and I took them to a matinee. Glad it was the matinee because I was not impressed. Mr. Kozlowski is correct in Mark Wahlberg being deadpan funny in his scenes with Eva Mendes but that was about it and it wasn't uproariously funny. Also, there were some scenes that were more R-rated than PG-13 and we aren't exactly prudish when it comes to movies. I'd say that it is more appropriate for 16 year-olds on up due to sexual language. Save your money for "The Expendables" instead.

From the post title including "(ak)Bar" to the many levels of meaning in the logo/graphic this is a win. And it will grate on the nerves of the intolerant left which makes it all kinds of wonderful. Fabulous concept and execution! Err, didn't mean to say "execution" - my bad.

1. She probably shouldn't have set up a stand at a FAIR. Cute as it is, the point was made that others had to pay to be there. If she set up in front of her house, would it be as much of an issue? Just thinking here folks.
2. The government has probably created a conservative voter as a result. While I hate what the gov't did, if a child learns the harsh lesson of gov't intervention in economics/industry so be it <- a lesson she probably wouldn't get in her public (gov't) school.

This whole topic drives me nuts. Not only will code enforcement strong-arm legit businesses for "license fees" that are beyond ridiculous to even need, you have created an environment where neighbors narc on neighbors and businesses calling code enforcement on their competition. We are living in a police state created by special interests. Smaller gov't is good gov't and if we don't hack and slash at the monstrosity now, we get what we deserve.

Bah humbug.

The Minnesota Majority was on this topic before, during and after the campaign and they were/have been shunned by the media who is gaga over Franken. If it weren't for the New Black Panthers/J. Christian Adams story I believe the Minnesota story would still be under a proverbial rock. Dan McGrath, Jeff Davis, et al who have been tenacious at getting the facts and then getting the story out are rock stars in my book.

If you are in Minnesota, make sure to bookmark http://minnesotamajority.org and, if/when possible, help them out whether monetarily or sending letters/emails/faxes when they send out alerts. They are a tremendous resource and are on top of all of the issues that concern you. Don't let others make decisions for you and your family. Stay informed.
