I was covering a Palin rally (photographer) and zeroed in on a guy who showed up w/stage make-up that made it appear as if he'd been roughed up - like cuts and bruises to his face, torn shirt, etc. Fortunately, the Secret Service sent him packing. You have to wonder what narrative he intended to tell about those horrible, violent Palin supporters.

Watching this video (in which she turned the tables very effectively but remained gracious) makes me fear for her safety.

Left a comment on this oddball's youtube page - let's see how quickly it's deleted. I didn't see bullying behavior - I saw a husband being necessarily protective of his wife. Some weirdo's following & filming a private citizen and the Palins are described as being somehow at fault. She was perfectly gracious to this guy - more than he deserved. I hope they stay safe.

Interesting read, Brandon. Thank you for sharing your first-hand experiences of this organization's m.o. It takes a particular mix of backbone and righteous outrage to stand up to a group that, seemingly, shows no compunction when they've decided to target and destroy those they disagree with. Glad you're here to tell the tale.

If what I've heard it correct, there's more to come. There's systemic corruption in this organization and I hope there's a steady drip. drip, drip of that proof in the weeks ahead. And I'm in on the legal defense fund for these two young reporters if it's true that they're facing criminal charges in Baltimore. 'We' can't charge Black Panthers for intimidating voters but instead try to send these two to jail? We won't see Rangel or Dodd face any fallout for their behavior but Pelosi's ready to formally reprimand Joe Wilson? Thanks, Dems, for showing us exactly who you are and what you believe in. It's been very, very instructive.
