@charlene: It IS! And I'm not saying that because she's my mom! But seriously, it's so easy to cook it. I like how you can just put beans and pork leg in one pot and leave it simmering for hours and come back only to season it. Sounds easy no?

PinoyCentric.com : How to Celebrate Earth Hour

@Ben: Thanks for raising those points. I believe that saving the Earth is a lifestyle that goes beyond merely switching off lights for an hour. But I also think that the exercise of going without lights for an hour is a step in itself toward a no-impact lifestyle. If one can do that, surely one can try to forgo the newspaper subscription (maybe just get the Sunday edition?), take the public transport more than once a week and leave the car home, or take the elevator (good exercise!). It's a conscious decision, and it may not be easy for some, but as they, baby steps. Right?

@You;re right, Dennis, but the good news is that GSK has lowered the cost its vaccine (it's the subject of an upcoming article that you'll see later this week). I was told one GSK dose is now P2K, and you need three doses in all within six months.

PinoyCentric.com : More Than Meets the Eye

@Paolo! Thanks for dropping by (and for the hospital visit!). I totally agree with you. In art, the most important thing isn't whether other people like it--in the end, it's really the artist's fulfillment. I was just reading this Inquirer story on National Artist Arturo Luz yesterday and it was mentioned that he never gave interviews because he didn't want to explain his work. I'm sure though that whether or not people understood his output, he derived much fulfillment from it. Do drop by again, and don't forget to add your photos to the Pinoycentric Flickr community!
