inprogress : I Wonder What I Would've Become...

i was watching Joyce Meyer the other night and she was talking about how God uses the least us to do big things—the kind of things we can only dream about because we don't have the skills—or look/feel equipped. I guess her worship leader failed music in school, and she also failed English class. And yet, both are now highly successful in the things that no one poured into them to do. God wants us moldable. Changeable. Not locked into something. He wants us available—and to say yes when we're called. if you have a God-given gift and dream and passion—let Him use it. no one but Him need pour into it.

to changed the past would change who & where i am today. i am not sure easing the pain of my past is worth taking away from everything i've learned. i also wouldn't want to miss out from further steps of trust and obedience... so the future can come as it may.

Lindsey Nobles : Too Picky?

If not picky, then we settle for less than God's desire for us. I firmly believe that God orchestrates marriage and as cliche as it may sound, He will bring you (myself, all women who are single and waiting) who it is God wants us to be with. Serve with. Love with. Delight in Him and He will give you the desires of your heart. When I don't believe that, the Saturday nights alone are much harder to bear.

Rent and Glee are both in my top 5 favorites. They both challenge my faith and how I react to and treat people who live lives contrary to what my faith believes to be "right".
