Joanna, thank you for writing this. It is who you are, how you live, and I also have been so loved by you with your lunches. I love the part you wrote about the exchange that takes place over a meal--I can think of many significant conversations we've had in just that setting. And the point about intentionality is also very good--it doesn't "just happen". You have inspired me again to stretch myself and reach out, although I know there are definitely more cobwebs in my house than yours!! :) You are a very good writer--please give us more!
"To dance in our darkness … to sing in our barrenness … what a way to worship!" Stacy, I love this--what a beautiful way to put it! The running analogy is very effective. Thanks for writing.
Thanks, Ashley, for sharing your story--the vulnerable, painful parts and the victories! Good stuff.
Thanks, Loralea, what a tangible word picture you gave us! I don't especially like glitter, but this made me want to get up close to Him and have all that you described rub off on me. Thanks for writing.
Lisa, what a great story! Thanks for sharing. I love how when God spoke, you heard and believed and then saw it fulfilled!
Susan, I love this! Just yesterday I was talking with a friend about finding our "sweet spot" in being focused and having more impact through not being spread out in so many directions. This is very timely for me, and, I think, for all of us as we head into the holiday season. I loved your description of the interaction between the women at the Thanksgiving gathering.
Good stuff, Sandy! Thanks for writing.
Dana, this is a beautiful article, and i really like your painting at the top. I like how you wove together the two threads of creativity and your pain from the miscarriages. Thanks for sharing your story.
Spot on, Nancy! This is a now word for the church. Great descriptive language. Can't wait to see you.
Good stuff, Celeste! Love your down-to-earth style of communicating.
