Thank you, sweetie! I'm trying my damndest to make my way in the world and have a positive impact on it at the same time, and I figure the only way I can do that is to be who I am and not be ashamed of it and to spread the message of the necessity of respect and equality for all. You have certainly been an inspiration to me in that quest. :)

That doesn't offend me at all. It makes my heart hurt that Christianity has been given a bad rap by the people who pervert the essence of it to fit their own fears and intolerances. I could go into a long diatribe about why I don't think God or the Bible (which may have started out as the Word of God but has been translated and edited by fallible MEN) are against homosexuality, but what it really boils down to is this: Jesus preached AND practiced love and tolerance for ALL people, not just those who followed him or those who were the least of the sinners. He welcomed prostitutes, murderers, thieves, etc. to his table and let them ALL feast. The "Christians" who hold signs that say "God Hates Fags" unfortunately get more attention than those of us who are open-minded, loving and tolerant of ALL, even if we don't agree with their opinions or what they do.

Even though I'm sad that most "Christians" lose sight of what Christ actually taught, I'm proud to be set apart from them.
