These people (congress-critters) are not ordinary folks who just got a new job with some small business like "Joe's Pizza Parlor" or some mega corporation like GE. They are critters who were elected by citizens and those citizens have a reasonable right to expect their elected representatives to "be public" and open. If the congress-critters don't like the publicity (openness) and all that comes with it (their email addresses public, their cell phone numbers public) then those congress-critters should resign immediately so we (the public) can put in place someone else who is more responsible and transparent.
