Big Hollywood : Hollywood Sells Its Soul to China's Censors

Hollywood sold its collective soul long ago. And the Chicoms never had one. But Christianity is BOOMING in China, growing from one house to the next, because the individual Chinese seeks truth and eternity, not government oppression and shackles. Now if someone told me Christianity was spreading through Hollywood with the same fire, I'd be happy and amazed.

I've known people who destroy themselves with drugs, alcohol, food, the list is endless it seems. And by destroy, I mean, they're dead. Is it harsh and pointless to mention this?

It's a DVD. It no doubt did it's anti-American job for the slugs involved and made it where it would do the most damage. That said, I think our boys and girls overseas are made of strong enough stuff to see through MM's lies.

The ewoks sucked eggs. I couldn't believe this was from the same people who made the first two SW films. And another Death Star? Death Star II (this time it's personal). Ye gods! Talk about a lack of originality. And Han shot first (different film, but have to put it in here!)

Big Hollywood : Entertainment Weekly Calls Streep's Thatcher 'Total B*tch' in Poster Parody

During Thatcher's PMship, a lib friend said the British should get out of Northern Ireland. I said to him, "Do you know they've voted to remain part of Britain? They've had elections and voted to stay part of GB?" Naturally he hadn't heard this in a single news broadcast on this, not her and not in Britain. He's a conservative today, but it was a long haul.

Big Hollywood : The Hypocrisy of Hollywood's Whitney Houston Sorrow

Personal responsibility is key. After all, you can not accept salvation on behalf of someone else. BUT... he's not talking about that here. He's talking about the responsibility to intervene, to help, to get involved. That's the responsibility of those who claim to be close to her. We all need that from time to time when we play near the cliff.

You are correct, Tim. But we were not placed on this earth by God NOT to intervene and try and help a friend who has gone astray. It's something we're called to do. From Luke 15: "Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent." So where were Whitney's shepherds, her friends?
