"Ads have been adjusted on Attackr.com to not display for regular users. If a member logs in frequently, the ads will disappear." Really a great idea. A bit like Google is doing. If you never use the ads why show them?

Excellent advice. I especially like:

"Check your email twice a day only. If you run an online business make sure you put some disclaimer along with your contact info along these lines: Thank you for contacting us. We will respond within 24-48 hours."

"Spend less time in forums or social sites, unless you are there for a specific purpose, like asking a question, or helping someone out."

Nothing new, but somehow you magically forget what's good for you. Sit and click that gmail icon every ten minutes. Ridiculous. Wasting time on social sites is pretty easy too. If you have nothing to do you might be better off reading a tutorial.

I wrote a bit about Chrome's excellent JavaScript performance in this post. In this article a wider variety of test were performed. It dosn't do very well in flash tests, but comes out as the overall winner.

Quality post but even better comments. I agree with all three of you. It's like I wrote in http://www.attackr.com/structuring-your-html-code...

"Is it worth spending time on structuring it [the code] probably? After all it doesn’t affect anything. Spiders don’t care and general users won’t notice as they won’t check your source code, most people don’t even know what that is. In general, if you can say that no-one is going to look at your source code, then structuring is meaningless."

Of course I'm only talking about structuring the code, not the difference between following web-standards or not. But the principle is quite similar in both cases.

It's a great app. No doubt about it. However this post offer little to no insight on how to really take advantage of it.

'hello' is adequate too ~..*

I would reccomend using a proper strength tester like the one at Yahoo SignUp http://tinyurl.com/2q6awt or the one displaying when trying to change your password in wordpress WP-admin.
