Brad, software patents could offer startups a competitive advantage when raising funds. What other ways could a small software startup use to defend against large software firms who could with the stroke of a pen patent their latest coolest idea?

Actually typing

rm -r *.out

on a unix machine while working on an assigment.

Unfortunately I didn't let go of the shift key in time and so got:

rm -r *>out

which wiped out all my source files

My super power is that I can read, write, and think software in any language, I barely even notice the specific syntax of a piece of source code any more.
