I have never felt more "out of the loop" here than with this comic. I have never seen the good Doctor, nor MSTxxxx. I know.. I know.. but I know all ABOUT them and I still don't get the significance of this image. Is it just one of those things when someone combines two of your favorite things and you can't help but be delighted? Someone shed some light here. I want to BELEIVE!!

I love that the first panel and the second panel can be viewed on their own and still be complete and funny.

+1 on Rainforest Cafe. Went the the one on the Riverwalk in San Antonio with my Girlfriend and her daughter. We did enjoy the decoration and animatronics because we got to see a 5 year old be spellbound by it all. Then we sat down and were force-fed corny gimicks from our far-too-insincerely-eager server. Then the food...my god the food, it was the worst of the frozen chain-store variety. Bland, uninteresting, not-actually-food food. Then the bill.... my God, my ass still hurts trom that raping. AVOID. Take your kid to the real Zoo (there is an excellent one in San Antionio). Your kid will be far more entertained/educated and it wont cost near as much. Actually, you could eat corn-dogs or something there and have a better meal as well.

I have never seen an episode but like Joel was I am very aware of its existence. All this talk of how amazing it is is tempting me to dive in but all I am hearing is Doctors called by number and Seasons and Specials and holyfuckhell it seems so daunting! It really sounds like you shouldn't just start at the beginning but with a show this age it makes sense. Where the fuck am I supposed to start!? I'm the type to start at 1 and catch up to current releases but that just seems impossible here. How I am to get satisfaction!!!??

Ok be honest Joel - you just wanted to draw those balloons. Impressive work there. I too am curious about the method. Did you really draw them individually? Great work with the lens flare, it really sells the scene.

I finally found the comic I want in print. It'll go on my wishlist immediately right next to the caricature I insist I will get one day. Good work, that made my day. I think TMNT may have had a bigger impact on my life than MOTU, but I could be wrong.

That arguing on the internet thing goes both ways. Just sayin...
