Tuck and roll! You know deep down that this is the best move for you so regardless of how hard your landings might be, it's for the best. Congrats! Coffee at Saxy's soon to celebrate!

"My dad was hardly around, but when he was, it was like he wasn't even there. He and his weird Italian Doctor friend used to sit around for hours, throwing weird-colored pills at each other...

Mass points for Kitty Kuato (both the concept and the alliteration) and the triple alliteration of "Mutated Mexi-Martians". Most excellent grammaring.

If you haven't already, check out Colman's Mustard Powder. I frequently use it with soy sauce, white wine vinegar, and a little Tabasco to make a Soy Mustard glaze that I most often put on Ahi.
Between us Girls : Blog experiment; A general feeling of bleah

Bleah? I think what you're describing is actually "meh". There's a difference. A case of the mehs *could* give way to a case of the bleahs, but I don't think you're quite there yet. I recommend some guacamole - it always seems to perk me right up.

The Power of Floof Compels You : The Top of the Mountain?

The ratio is determined primarily by my nutrient requirements of my breakfast, really. One whole egg is pretty much a given - the number of whites dictate how much protein I'll get from another food source, such as turkey bacon, cottage cheese, jarlsberg, mozzarella, et cetera.

Also, the number of eggs determine the size of the pan to use. A 3/1 omelette does well in my 8" All-Clad. The 5/1 shown here gets made in a 10" pan, though that pan isn't really made for omelets (vertical sides rather than sloped sides). I'm going to buy a couple of cast-iron Lodge skillets soon - they're sitting in my Amazon shopping cart and I just haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I'm with you, Tom. The pictures cell phones take are, in my opinion, essentially "yearbook photos" - nothing fancy, just snapshots of ad-hoc moments. I wouldn't need to print anything bigger than a 4x6, but I want that picture to be in focus with decent exposure. A buddy of mine took a shot with his iPhone while we were eating ice cream at Glacier this weekend and the results were less than stellar.

Have you been to the Boulder Farmers' Market yet? I've only been once because it put a serious hurting on my wallet. I must say, though, that the portabellas that I picked up were quite amazing.

You're not the only one. That frame looks like it's depicting the pre-mount phase of said face-raping. It wasn't until I read the next panel that I noticed Pete's hand in Eli's mouth.

When I had mono, I played Final Fantasy on my NES. I recommend that over park napping.
