Just read the west ham site about the Hillsborough cup game against Man U in 1964, l was at that game & every one mentions how much it rained, the stands never had any roofs on them in those days, so we all got absolutely soaked!
l remember going up the hills to the ground, and thinking that there was no where flat enough to have a football pitch! l was only about 14 then! my older brother was a friend of John Layll, and when John was in S.Africa he met up with my brother and he gave him some tickets for the final at wembly, and l only found out about this a couple of years ago, my brother and his mate used the tickets without telling me!!!!! so l suffered the bloody rain for nothing!!!! LOL!

If somebody offers 10 million for Tomkins, he will be gone.As l understand it, he's not on top wages,as the owners haven't got the money to hang on to any good players, because if they did, they could have kept Parker and got rid of Grant at the time when Martin O'neil could have taken over! but no, they didn't have the money to pay Grant off !! If they did, we would still have been in the premier now, just look at how Martin O'Neil has turned Sunderland around!
Upson our old captain doesn't even warm the bench for stoke, and the man who should have been our captain for the last 2 years, is captain for Spurs!! Good eh? and all just to get 3 million and save his wages!

The owners have to sell Upton Park because they need the money, to pay the bank back, l think it was four years to pay up the rest of the money that is outsanding. l think with these owners we will get stuffed with anything that won't cost too much money ie the O S.
We need new owners! some that have got the money to build a new stadium, preferably along the river in Newham or even Thurrock!! I think that that's the way we have to go! there really is no use in staying at Upton Park any more, l think that the people who live there are detatched from the football side of West Ham, most of the people who support West Ham, come from out side the area, I was originally all for the OS, but not any more.

What if Spurs and Chelsea take on the OS, ground share till their new grounds have been built,then just to rub the salt in,let Hearn have it for a knock down rent.

not feeling confident about tommorrow, after the week that we have had! l don't know if l'll be bothered to go! our two friends have dropped out, so we have got 2 tickets for the Dicanio Bar, l have asked all our other friends and l can't even give them away!!!! How on earth are we going to fill a 60,000 seater stadium!!!

Just one thing it was Boris who got Spurs to bid in the first place,and could not be Mayor when it all goes through any way.
