Good grief! Was that really Zinn's voice? He sounds bored even with himself. Which just goes to show you that communists are always dull and boring, except when they are slaughtering the masses.
Hang in there, Huc. Pray and just do your best. Been there. It's probably the hardest thing you will ever do, but with faith and friends you can get through the heartache. Remember to take some time to take care of yourself mentally, physically and spiritually. Just keep giving your unconditional love and you will be rewarded in time.
The noose is being tightened just a little bit every day.
Don't you love the way Rep. Poe offers Holder his own copy of the law so that Holder can read it for himself? Can you imagine the behavior of a Dem. official if he had been questioning a similarly ignorant Attorney General under, say, the Bush administration? He would have ranted and raved and foamed at the mouth, and then the MSM would have played the clip over and over.
I'll second that......unless the Times later gives in to pressure from the Left. It's difficult to trust someone who does something right after a series of betrayals.
Guess I'm outta the loop. I had no idea that lesbians were stereotyped as softball players. Wonder why that is? Bet some liberal began it.
Yes, I am reminded of a verse from the Bible that says, "Nevertheless the Lord raised up judges, which delivered them out of the hand of those that spoiled them." Judges 2:16. Churchill was ugly in several ways, but he was the man for the hour. Throughout history God has raised up champions for nations: Gideon,Churchill, Joan of Arc, Abraham Lincoln. Today we need a Gideon or a George Washington who will rise up for this nation without desiring a crown.
As someone who likes to relax in the corner of a restaurant booth with a good newspaper, I wonder what would happen if someone would start publishing a real conservative newspaper nationwide? I bet it would be wildly popular as long as the government left it alone, which probably wouldn't be long.
"Maybe he’s having financial problems…or maybe the problem is just that he doesn’t find his social niche. And maybe he was a bit unstable to begin with… anyway, for whatever reason, he feels alienated in America." And maybe he was a radical jihadist who came to America with the intent to kill American citizens. Why leave that out of the equation? I'd like to invite Wright to pull his head out of his butt so that he doesn't have to imagine an alternative universe, but can actually see what's going on in the real universe around him.
