I don't understand why some green types don't like it. What would they rather PG&E do? Do nothing with cities? My energy company, E.ON, did a great job in helping the city of Malmo build the 100% locally produced, renewable energy district called the Western Harbour.

Why not encourage PG&E to do the same in San Francisco?

Good news to hear about a lower cost hybrid car, which is better for the environment. Let's hope they make the Brunel engine a reality!

How did bike to work month go? I live in Malmo, Sweden where about 30% cycle to work regularly. I hope you can help make other cities manage something similar.
