Thanks for heads up on him, I'll make sure to keep up. His website hasn't been updated in awhile, but he did post some lightning photos last August.

They are pretty great too, amazing stuff. Hoping I can figure out if my camera has a time lapse on it, or if my Flip can do freeze framing okay.

Otherwise, I may start looking for something new ;)

Thank you for the photos, they are incredible :)

I'm so very jealous of you guys in the midwest who get to see all these crazy storms that we just don't always get out here in Phoenix :)

Hoping to get some lightning shots this summer though...gonna try the HD Flip out on a tripod and see what happens.

Thanks for stopping by!

Yeah, that is actually the radar on the TornadoVideos.net site for their Live storm chases, etc.

Thanks for the link, I may need to switch, we'll see.

Richard, thanks for bringing the emotion back to the surface after it kind of died out a little Saturday...now I'm missing the show all over again.

I wrote on my blog Friday night much of the same things you did. Especially the stuff you say about the "nerds" and God and angels. How anyone could be let down that God was in control of things is beyond me. Wasn't that the point all along? Wasn't that one of the biggest storylines, the biggest motivation for even headed to earth?

If it turned out to be aliens or just dumb luck, wouldn't it diminish everything Roslin felt was calling her forward?

That shocks the crap out of me...that people are so shortsighted. Like you said, they just care about the "sci-fi" side of things and want their technical "sci-fi" explanation.

People are still wondering what Kara was and are somehow annoyed that it wasn't answered directly. That kind of baffles me too. I thought it was obvious...and it didn't need an explanation.

The Coda was perfect as well, and I like your deeper look at it.

Also, the idea of Noah's Ark is intriguing. Never really looked at it that way, and it makes a lot of sense to me. God kept them on the ark for 40 days and 40 nights...probably to teach them something about themselves and HIMself along the way.

If it happened too quickly, they wouldn't learn anything.

Which is why they had to be brought together at the end, which I feel was the true importance of Hera. They all thought this girl was important and meaningful, but she was just the key to bringing them all together for one final attempt at breaking the cycle, which didn't happen because of Tori's simple act of murder.

I don't think most people are talking much about how Tori's "sin" prevented the peace from happening. Or maybe that wasn't in God's plan afterall. But who knows...

Anyways, what a fantastic show and I really get bummed when I know people wont watch it because the title sounds "star trekkie" and that if it's out in space, it much suck.

Thought your Tweet yesterday about a SciFi Marathon was The Middleman. I guess I got mixed up :(

So this is in addition to the Middleman marathon?

So glad that your blog echoed my sentiments exactly. Both my wife and I were 30 minutes into the show, looked at each other and she said, "I'm kind of bored" and I agreed.

Awful episode, the flow was horrible and the writing was cheesy as all hell. The Ellen-Saul-Caprica crap about love and all that was just ridiculous.

First we find out Callie's baby isn't a Cylon conveniently, and now this baby dies for no reason. I remember some writer (Moore, Jane, who knows) saying this baby would be addressed in future episodes...so that was it?

The whole Baltar storyline was completely out of place. It felt like they realized Baltar hadn't done much lately, so let's give him something to do. And out of nowhere his Six starts talking to him again after weeks and weeks of nothing.

I'm so disappointed in this episode, because with so few left, you really want them all to be so very worth it.

Wow, I'm surprised you hated it at first, I thought it was brilliant from the get-go. I was totally blown away by Ellen showing up like that...I've been trying to avoid spoilers of any kind, so the opening was weird and I was like WTF is going on? Then she wakes from the resurrection and I was shocked.

I guess up until now, everyone questions whether they had that ability or not.

Anyways...a lot of this is confusing, all the revelations, how it works on the timeline, etc.

I think my big question at this point...are the 12 colonies human or Cylon?
