John Nolte - Good on you! I've never thought of her with your perspective. I am a Palin fan, but have not been able to convince myself that she is of "world leader" stature (primarily by the way she speaks; which belies her smarts and diminishes her "world leader" effectiveness) for me to vote for her as President. Still, I now understand more of what she's already been through. If she could be like Ms Thatcher, who took speech training to elevate her eloquence, Palin would undoubtedly be my candidate.

Wow! The AP sure does lean to the left: "Strip" instead of pull back. "Union rights" instead of priveledges. Framing this as a battle of good vs evil is a common tool of journalistic manipulation, as well.
