Rosemary is great because it's very hearty (seems to be the consensus) and will tolerate being planted in a pot exclusively (and thereby kept alive all year) or can go in the ground in the spring/summer, then come indoors before the first frost and live in a pot through the winter. Perfect for adding a little something to those hearty winter meals -- or a personal favorite, Rosemary bread!

Wow, yum! Pumpkins! I have to try that. All I can think of is pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie, pumpkin roll.. mmm.

Good question, I now realize my photo is a bit misleading. What you're seeing (the 4 pieces) are actually what you cut OFF so that you are left with a cross, basically. Does that make sense? If not, I can see if I can find a photo of it in that state. Happy to help in any way I can!
