I think most of us learned a valuable lesson today: the New York Post isn't afraid to omit facts in order to create a more interesting and more controversial story (especially when it is anti-Mets) and should not be listened to.

According to MLB rules, a team cannot come in from the west coast and play a day game without an off day in between. The Mets wanted an off day tomorrow in case it rained today, so they were forced to play a night game today.
