Chip, that was also my first reaction. Hunting is a seasonal sport with peaks and valleys of online involvement. But that is not the correct answer. In looking at the numbers more closely, HuntingNet.com is down 39% in June 2010 compared to their numbers in June of 2009. From the peak in October, they are down 76%, which explains the seasonal factor. CamoSpace.com is down 30% in June 2010 vs June 2009. Down 35% since their peak. ArcheryTalk.com is down 13% in June 2010 vs June 2009. Down 45% from their peak this year. Again, most of these sites peak at October/November, obviously from the hunting seasons. The issue lies in the numbers being down from last year's June numbers.

Yes, this is serious.  This is not the same person who started WHA.  I'm also curious to see if this takes off since WHA was a flop and caused so much backlash amongst hunters. 

Agree with you Chip. Other than the demographic, what other reasons do you see why hunters are not embracing social media?
