I know that it's tough when your son goes away, my kids go to their dads every other week for just about 8 hours. At first even that was tough but now after almost 8 months I actually value that time time. I use that time to decompress and usually to just veg and watch the TV shows that I've recorded. In so many ways I really do wish that he would take the kids for more time though, the kids really do need to know their dad and spend time with him. It won't be easy when he takes them for something more than over night (up till last week we've shared 1 car and I wouldn't let him have the car for 2 nights) but I know that its in the best interest of the kids.

Try and enjoy the weekend, recharge your batteries and know that before you realize it your son will be back with you. And you both will be better off and more appreciative of each other for the short separation.

I am so waiting for it to start staying warmer... we had a nice warmer spell and now we are cold again

I'm ready for a warmer spring... but so far we are having a typical MidWest Spring... warmer colder warmer colder... ;)

Thanks.. some how I do think we turned a corner... he at least was talking to me on Monday.. and even today... and neither of us bended on Monday so now the Judge will decide at least 1 contested point....
Too bad I’m a full time student and don’t work out of the house, then things would be easy… but hey when is life really easy

yes this was good.... my daughter liked it .. my son thought it was ok.. but then again he is really hard to please these days..

yes this was good... its a Monday night dinner so yep its easy ... Monday is not a night where I have time to think about cooking.. so its a crock pot dinner or carry out before my night class

Yeah we say From Paris With Love the opening weekend. We had free tickets to this awsome local movie theater where they serve great food with the movies since it was Super Bowl Sunday.

I first saw Jonathan in Bend it Like Beckham.... and wow was I hooked.... it was so bad my son didn't want me watching that movie anymore since he thought his dad would be bothered by it... ;)... now i can oogle him all I want with no re-percusions....
