funny i argued this exact point last night with a very good friend of mine....he didnt even want to listen to a word i had to say about it

and when i mentioned the point of "motivation to turn out in great numbers to re-elect democrats in 2010 and 2012" and the lack of it., he became very angry and hung up the phone on me

i think many progressives or hardcore Obama supporters may feel that way also, they just dont want to hear any talk of not voting in more democrats or re-electing President Obama

this will become a more obvious and serious issue when the elections come up in 2010 and 2012

can we waterboard the ass who asked those ignorant questions?

i was talking about this exact issue with a friend sunday who is a catholic, i asked him what he had to say about it and much to my surprise he was silent....

it took a lot of patience for me to keep from screaming at him over the phone but i kept after him...it was as if he didnt even hear me, finally i asked him how he could morally justify supporting a faith or church that remains silent on issues such as this, but uses his donations to take womens rights away and even mine and his, his only reply was...they need it and its such a small amount

even with his questioning the existence of a god or gods he still remains very stuborn and ignorant on many things ::shakes head:: i dont know how to deal with this blind faith garbage many are so sick with it

i am an atheist because i was born an atheist...i wish i could be more polite when asked why dont i believe lol
i dont believe because i use my brain..there thats a little nicer

lately religionists are working my nerves and i wont stand for it anymore
