I got an iphone 3G with firmware 3.0 and BB 04.26 but it starts to behave odd: slow, apps continously crash, etc The phone is jailbroken and unlocked with ultrasn0w. I want to upgrade my firmware to the latest version but keep my current BB (I've seen lots of warnings regarding sticking to 04.26 if possible...). As far as I understood the existing applications out there, if I don't want to use blackra1n, then my only way is to use Pawnage Tool but for that I need a Mac right? In short: how do I upgrade my fw keeping my current BB if I don't own a Mac computer (I truly wish I ddi though). I've also read that I should not simply upgrade but restore?? is that right?
