good question hakimotojee/ your question has answer/ it is not maakune himself but the anti nepal elements behind him are not allowing him to agree with maaoists to let their demand be discussed in the parliament. maaoists's demand is a political issue and that should be discussed in the parliament, the outcome whatever that may be even maoists cannot disagree. so why makune donot want that easy resolution?

you are right. why they donot want to discuss on maoists demand? this is a political issue and it should be discussed among the political parties in the parliament . maoists have said that they would accept the conclusion. their denial is the prim reason of present conflictions and obstacles in the parliament. i guess present government is not sure of their unity and probably they might have been thinking that maoists demand might turn up against them if it is discussed in the parliament.
