I agree with the replies I have received. My major concern is "In WHAT WAY can we fight that invites that lingering and vast SILENT majority to also speak up?". It just seems like noone wants to get involved until it hits their pocketbook, and then it's too late. How can we successfully combat "political dogma" by some on both sides of the fence, and wake them up to REALITY? Could we possibly get a "million citizens march" on DC? Can we storm the House and Senate with phone calls, e-mails, letters, etc.? What really concerns me is that, no matter what "individualdogmas" we cling to regarding our political leanings, if this Nation goes down the tubes, "spreading the wealth" "environmental warming", "same sex marriage", "abortion", "cap and trade" "carbon foot prints", etc. will suddenly become MOOT! SURVIVAL shall become the single political, civil, and Spiritual concern! I am open to any ideas or debates. To all who have responded, my most sincere thanx. You get me a stronger heart, a deeper faith, and abeeter sense of community.

This "Project" gives me hope. At age 72+, I have been depressed by the direction this Nation has taken, politically as well as economically. I do NOT wish to die in a "socialist U.S. of A.!!!!! I was a lifetime democrat until 1996 when I could not longer find excuses for the political ethics or policies of the democratic far left. What I have found with the republicans is that they have the ability to admit their wrongs. The democrats simply point endlessly to someone else. I pray for this Nation and its people. I BEG republicans, democrats, independents, and the vast "silent majority" to step up to the "Plate of Patriotism", decency, ethics, and sanity to bring this country back to its high potentials once more.
