Thanks for the comment. I highly recommend getting one as it's a great camera. I got it from a seller in Norcross, Georgia but I highly recommend checking with the seller if the camera has had any upgrades or if the light seals have been checked, though I'm very happy with my camera there are a couple of issues that I need to get fixed and those are that the magazines aren't very fluid when advancing the film and that I have a small light leak. Though the issues I have are not causing the camera to fail completely it's something that I need to get resolved so I'd suggest to get in contact with the seller to check up on the camera. If you can spend a little more and get it from Arax or Hartblei then I'd suggest doing so because they test and upgrade the cameras they sell hence the price being a bit higher than the ones on ebay. Whitney, what they scan is the film not the prints...that way they get the full resolution of the scanned image...so if you still have the developed film from that trip to Australia then you can still get the images scanned...and film, if stored correctly, will last a long time...

I didn't really write the code above, I was searching for a method to place a slideshow on my site's header and found the code on this post that would allow for that using the NextGen gallery. The code on the forum needed a fix because it was relatively outdated. Now I'm no expert on PHP or JS but this is the code that worked for Wordpress. Basically it's a copy paste with a couple of changes in the code.

I'm currently using the NextGen gallery plugin for Wordpress which uses the imagerotator.swf to display the slideshows but with the code above you can use it to display a small slideshow in the header or any other location on the page. NextGen gallery plugin adds all of the necessary codes for that to work. I guess that it's possible to load it without having the NextGen gallery plugin installed but haven't looked for that specifically.

Kai, Yes, this is possible and it's quite simple, in the code that I mentioned it went through a loop so that it would load an image for each category, you already knew that, but since there isn't a single command you can use to get the first category then what would need to be done is apply the following code: <?php $cat = get_the_category(); < IMG src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/categoryicons/<?php echo" $cat->category_nicename" ?>.png"> ?>

Kai, thanks for the comment. With the code I wrote on this post it basically looks for an image with the name of the category slug. The code that loads the image is: <img src="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/categoryicons/<?php echo" $cat-="">category_nicename" ?>.png"> and that is where you would change the URL to the image. I chose to name the image files using the category slug since the slug can't have spaces thus preventing any issues with the links. Let me know if you have any other questions regarding this subject.
